Position Overview

C&S Wholesale/ Grocers Supply desires to create the country's safest, efficient, and service-forward fleet. As a Professional Driver with C&S Wholesale Grocers, you will start your driving career with the company by working with a Professional Driver Trainer (PDT) who will provide coaching and insight on the C&S Way which includes company and regulatory requirements. Once you have completed our new hire training program, you will maintain a high level of customer satisfaction through product and service deliveries while performing all other assigned duties. All functions must be completed in a safe and timely manner and per the Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.

Tuition Reimbursement

Guaranteed $1000/week during training period

Paid every Wednesday

• Utilizing the specialized skills developed with experience and the C&S Professional Driver Training Program, you will operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (semi-truck/eighteen-wheeler/box truck, etc), applying knowledge of training and commercial driving regulations, to transport and safely deliver product
• Driver will load and unload (ambient or temperature sensitive) product to customers on an average of 3-10 stops per day
• Driver will inspect, document and ensure equipment is operable in compliance with all regulatory and company requirements
• Inspect equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements
• All other duties as assigned

• Store : Freezer (-20F to 0F)
• Warehouse : Perishable Warehouse (28F to 60F)
• Warehouse : Grocery Warehouse (50F to 90F)

Skills

• Specialized Knowledge : DOT Certified, Class A Commercial Driver's License
• Special Skills : Must be at least 21 years old
• Physical abilities: : Valid Department Of Transportation Physical Exam.
• Other: : Must be DOT certified with all qualification requirements

Years Of Experience

• 1-2 : Minimum 1 year of recent tractor-trailer experience
• 1-2 : Supporting a large Enterprise Storage environment
• 1-2 : One year of recent applicable CMV experience or participation/completion of a company approved CDL truck driving school
