Job Description
We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide response to customer requests for network support. This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams while using Wireshark to analyze and troubleshoot issues.
Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to customer network support requests.
Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting using Wireshark and other tools.
Configure and maintain Layer 3 dynamic routing protocols (OSPF/BGP).
Travel to customer sites in Indianapolis as needed.
This is onsite in Indianapolis 2-3/month and offering a direct hire salary of 85-100k.

Skills and Requirements
Strong communication skills; able to explain complex concepts in simple terms.
Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform onsite work.
Currently holds or is pursuing CCNA or CompTIA Network+ certification.
Proficient in:
Wireshark for network diagnostics.
Fortinet Switches Develop Python scripts for reporting and automation tasks.
Document processes with clear step-by-step procedures and create network diagrams using Visio.
