Description We are looking for an experienced Payroll Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting payroll operations for a multistate workforce of over 3,000 employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable regulations. Offers a hybrid work environment. Responsibilities: - Process payroll for a multistate workforce of 3,000 employees using UKG UltiPro or similar payroll systems. - Handle union and non-union payrolls with precision and compliance. - Perform payroll tax reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records. - Manage employee timekeeping systems, including Kronos and UKG Ready. - Ensure compliance with multistate payroll laws and regulations. - Collaborate with internal teams to oversee 401k and RRSP administration. - Utilize accounting software systems for payroll processing and reporting. - Address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently. - Maintain detailed documentation for audits and compliance purposes Requirements - Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing, preferably for a multistate workforce. - Proficiency in Ceridian, UKG Pro, UKG Ready, and Kronos timekeeping systems. - Strong knowledge of union and non-union payroll processes. - Experience with payroll tax reconciliations and related accounting functions. - Familiarity with multistate payroll regulations and compliance requirements. - Ability to manage 401k and RRSP administration effectively. - Background in retail or luxury brands is a plus, but not required. - Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
