Salary Range: $44,000 - $75,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding using various techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick) according to specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
• Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools.
• Inspect finished welds for quality, defects, and adherence to standards.
• Prepare materials by grinding, cutting, and cleaning surfaces prior to welding.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures while working.
• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on welding machinery.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proficiency in common welding processes (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick) on various materials.
• Ability to read and accurately interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety protocols and proper use of PPE in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven ability to inspect finished welds for quality, defects, and adherence to specifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Welder in a manufacturing or production setting.

Bonus Qualifications

• Advanced blueprint reading skills, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
• Experience with robotic welding or automated welding systems
• Familiarity with various metal fabrication techniques (e.g., cutting, grinding, forming)
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies
